“I’m not dead yet!” Said the Black Knight. “It’s only a scratch!” I know I’m mixing up my Monty Pythons quotes here. Currently binge-reading and enjoying it.
wow that was haunting and painful. both the story and the picture accompanying! (do you draw those yourself? they're stunning) i agree so much with 2D's comment. you can't save someone if they don't want to be saved, no matter how much you want to or how hard you try 🥺
Thank you! It's very true... a hard reality. I wish I could take credit for the images! I actually made them with Midjourney. Sometimes it takes a while to get something usable. When I compile all these stories into hard copy, I'd like to hire an illustrator, and hopefully they can use these images as a guide!
Beautiful work, Anna. I feel so much sadness for Sir Roscoe... quiet but devastating. Sometimes, no matter how much you want to, you can't save someone from themselves.
Will her experience with Sir Roscoe shape her journey forward? Will it leave her more stubborn, more tender, maybe both? Sometimes you can only do what you can do, and you have to let go. I'm stubborn, too. I know that lesson from both sides.

I did think about that for a moment 😂 Thank you for reading!!

You get it :) It’s a very tough lesson, one that no one likes to learn. For my MC, there are plenty more lessons to come… so you’ll have to see!
Only one thing would save him...
That's true for more than mortal wounds if you are on the Void's edge, isn't it.
Like the tight gold on the horse's lowers. Looks like the horse didn't get a scratch. You always have such nice detailed accompanying art.
Enjoy reading your posts.
Thank you.
Absolutely, John. Thank you so much for reading!
